The Polk county 4-H camp (Camp McCroy) is located on Highway 30 in the Greasy Creek Community. Coordinated by the Polk County Agricultural Extension Service staff and volunteers, 4-H camp is a recreational, educational, and inspirational event. the camp is opened to all members on the Polk County 4-H Clubs, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. Members must have an enrollment card on file at the 4-H office.

The Regional Jr. Camp is open to 4-H members in the 4th - 6th grades. The camp is held at the Clyde Austin 4-H Center in Greeneville, Tennessee. This camp follows the same line of activities as the Polk County Camp.

To attend 4-H Summer Camp members need to fill out a 4-H camp application. Applications are available at the 4-H Office located in the old Polk County Health Department Building or contact the 4-H office to receive an application in the mail.
